    Not as nice as the photograph

    My little Ganesh statue is sitting on my desk at work. He's cute, but not nearly as well-crafted as the photograph on the website. The photo shows a smooth surface of the stone, but my ganesh has a rough, uneven and bumpy surface that shows each carve marking as if someone neglected to polish it, or as if it was carved by an inexperienced artist. The stone itself is monochromatic red, without any of the black that is pictured in the photo.

    Brings me such joy

    I'm Indian but I haven't been able to get back home because of the coronavirus. A family member who I'm not such a big fan of took my red ganesha statue that I got many years ago in Mumbai as a way to make me feel bad. I'd been on a quest for a replacement for many years, and I was so lucky to stumble upon this one. It is so beautiful. I would highly recommend it :) Ganpati Bappa Morya <3
