About the Author: Recognized at the age of two as the reincarnation of the Thirteenth Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso was brought to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, and enthroned two years later as the fourteenth Dalai Lama. In 1959, following the Chinese suppression of the Tibetan national uprising, he was forced to seek asylum in India. As Tibet's leader-in-exile, he has worked tirelessly not only on behalf of the Tibetan people but as a voice for human rights worldwide. Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, His Holiness is today universally acknowledged as one of the world's preeminent spiritual leaders.

  • 1 Sleeve (Garment Measurement)

    Sleeve length measured center back of neck to end of sleeve.

  • 2 Chest / Bust

    Measure at the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

  • 3 Waist

    Measure at the smallest part of your waist. This is usually below the rib cage and above the hip bone.

  • 4 Hip

    Measure at the fullest part of your seat, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

  • 5 Outseam (Garment Measurement)

    Measured from top of the waistband to the hemline.

  • 6 Inseam (Garment Measurement)

    Measured from the crotch of pants down to the hem of the pants leg.
